Privacy, terms and accessibility.
Three documents govern the use of this platform. They must be legally reviewed before going live.
Note — structural text. The final content must be drafted or reviewed by a lawyer, taking Congolese law into account and, where applicable, the GDPR for European visitors.
Privacy policy
Data collected
MCE collects only the data required for its activities: event registration, membership, newsletter subscription, partnership request, contact message.
- Identity: last name, first name, gender (optional)
- Contact: email, phone, WhatsApp
- Profile: city, province, university, faculty, organisation, occupation
- Activity: events attended, training, certificates, saved opportunities
- Technical data: anonymised audience statistics
Purposes
- Manage event registrations and ticket issuance
- Manage memberships and member cards
- Share the movement’s activities, opportunities and publications
- Improve the site and measure its audience
Retention and security
Data is kept as long as necessary for the purposes described. Access is restricted by role and logged; backups are automated. Traffic is encrypted (HTTPS).
Your rights
You may request access, correction or deletion of your data, as well as unsubscribing, by writing to info@mce-rdc.com. Every newsletter email includes an unsubscribe link.
Terms of use
Published content (texts, photos, videos, documents) is the property of the Mouvement Citoyen Éclairé unless otherwise stated. Any reuse must cite the source and link back to the original page.
Member area access is personal. The member number and digital card may not be transferred or reproduced for a third party.
